Log Type View

Too much data may make it difficult to focus on the relevant information during troubleshooting. With Site24x7 AppLogs, you can choose contextual fields and create customized views in the log type, which helps you to focus on the relevant information while debugging. In short, if you want to see only related information, you should create custom views.

Steps to create a Log Type View:

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Navigate to AppLogs from the left pane.
  3. Select any log type in the query language text box, then hit enter.
  4. Click the customize columns icon and click Create New View.
  5. Enter the View Name.
  6. You can create more than one log type view. Enable Mark as Primary to make this the default view for this log type.
  7. Choose the View Type.
  8. Choose the Font Size.
  9. Choose the Fields that you want to add by clicking the eye icon. A minimum of one field is required to create a view.
  10. You can reorder the fields by using the drag icon.
  11. Click Save to save the view.
  12. Click the customize columns icon and click Views to view the created views.
  13. From here, you can Edit, Clone, or Delete the created views.
