Azure Container Instance Monitoring Integration

An Azure container instance is a collection of containers that share a single host computer. The lifetime, resources, local network, and storage volumes are all shared among the containers in the group.

You can now monitor your container instances, get precise analytics, set thresholds, automate operations, and stay on top of outages with Site24x7's integration.

Setup and configuration

You can add an Azure container instance while adding a new monitor or you can add it to an existing Azure monitor. Follow these steps to add the service.

Supported metrics

Metric name Description Statistic Unit
CPU Usage CPU usage on all cores in millicores Average Count
Memory Usage The total memory usage Average Bytes
Network Bytes Received The number of network bytes received per second Average Bytes
Network Bytes Transmitted The number of network bytes transmitted per second Average Bytes
IP Address The IP address of the instance Text Text
Status The status of the container instance Text Text
Restart Count The total number of restarts happened Total Count

IT Automation

Site24x7's IT Automation tools automatically resolve performance degradation issues. When a breach occurs, the alarm engine continuously examines the system events for which thresholds have been defined and performs the mapped automation.
